Freedom From Smoking is an adult group smoking cessation program developed by The American Lung Association. It is provided to Suburban Cook County residents free of charge or for a nominal fee. Freedom From Smoking offers individuals a step-by-step plan for quitting smoking for life. This seven-session program is led by trained facilitators from CCDPH and incorporates positive behavior change for a healthy lifestyle, skill development, planning, stress management, and relapse prevention and maintenance.
